Sorry if you missed Dr. Hendrickson’s presentation at Art Reach, June 1, cosponsored by Mt. Pleasant Citizens’ Climate Education.

Her gripping stories of children she’s treated and others from around the country describe cell by cell, organ by organ, the sometimes fatal damage air pollution and extreme heat do to a child’s body. Their metabolism while growing is different than adults. They are much more vulnerable.

The Air They Breathe is a very important book for parents, grandparents, caregivers, doctors, teachers and coaches.
