You may have spotted us at Alma's annual Highland Festival — the 57th Highland Festival and Games, May 22–24, 2026. 

Mt. Pleasant Citizens' Climate Lobby joined the Saturday morning street parade with a float built around one simple truth: our climate is out-of-KILTer. Swinging temperatures, shifting seasons, and extreme weather — these aren't distant worries. They're already here, and they touch every community along the parade route.

We marched because the Highland spirit — resilience, community, showing up — is exactly what climate action calls for.
